Overview
Recent changes by the Sports Ground Safety Authority mean that in football alone an expected 20,000 stewards will require training.
This Apprenticeship is for those working in the match-day and events stewarding industry. It can be achieved by those working in supervisory positions at sports events, concerts or carnivals and where the safety of spectators is paramount.
Learners can also progress on to Further or Higher Education courses.
