Overview
This Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone seeking a career driving and delivering goods by articulated or draw bar vehicles, and aims to give individuals the knowledge and skills they need to work in the road transport industry. Apprentices will work (usually alone) making deliveries to warehouses, distribution centres, shops or private homes, and will be away from their base during the day and sometimes overnight. They will also be responsible for their vehicle and load, as well as keeping accurate records for deliveries and returns.
