Celebrating vocational achievement

Wednesday 05 June 2013

Vocational qualifications can provide young people with the core, transferable skills they need to succeed in the competitive labour market and move on in their lives.

What's more, a recent report, commissioned by independent education charity, the Edge Foundation, has established a link between low take-up of vocational courses in Britain and high levels of youth unemployment.

At NCFE, we're keen to raise the status of vocational education so that it gains the same level of recognition as academic studies.
