You may be aware that our suite of Level 1 Occupational Studies qualifications are about to expire on 30 September 2013 and are being replaced by our new suite of Occupational Studies for the Workplace qualifications.
This also means that our stand-alone unit qualifications linked to these qualifications is changing as we transition to the new qualifications.
Our current unit programmes linked to the existing Level 1 Occupational Studies will also expire on 30 September 2013.
Occupational Studies units
We’ve applied for funding for the new unit programmes in line with the SFA’s interim procedures for Public Funding, we fully expect these new replacement units to be funded when the list of funded units is updated in November and we are working with the SFA to make this happen. The units highlighted in red have had no changes and you can continue to offer these as normal, these highlighted units are also already on the funding list and therefore are eligible to receive funding.
We will communicate any developments relating to the funding of the replacement units as soon as we have the information.
