The following qualifications have been extended until December 2015:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Exercise and Physical Activity for Children) (500/8513/X/CHI)
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-Based Exercise) (500/8513/X/GYM)
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Exercise to Music) (500/8513/X/MUS)
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Water-Based Exercise) (500/8513/X/WAT)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (Exercise and Physical Activity with Children) (501/1996/5/CHI)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (Gym-Based Exercise) (501/1996/5/GYM)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (Exercise to Music) (501/1996/5/MUS)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (Water-Based Exercise) (501/1996/5/WBE)
- NCFE Level 3 Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity (600/8314/1)
- NCFE Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Personal Training (501/1999/0)
- NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (500/8526/8)
There are no changes to the title, content or structure of the qualifications, so please continue to use the existing qualification specifications with your learners. The qualification specifications are available to download by clicking on the qualification link above and selecting the ‘Support Material’ tab.
Please note that the regulation and certification end dates for these qualifications have changed to the following dates:
- the regulation end date for the qualifications is now 31 December 2015, so this is the final date we can receive and process your learner registrations
- the new certification end date for the Level 2 qualifications is 31 December 2017, and for the Level 3 qualifications 31 December 2018, so these are the final dates we can produce full and partial certificates for your learners.
