Extension of NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working in Mental Health (600/6133/9)

We’d like to inform you that the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working in Mental Health (600/6133/9)* has been extended until 31 August 2015.

There are no changes to the title, content or structure of the qualification, so please continue to use the existing qualification specification (issue 1, June 2012) with your learners. The qualification specification is available to download by clicking on the qualification link above and selecting the ‘Support Material’ tab.

Please note that the regulation and certification end dates for this qualification have changed to the following dates:

  • the regulation end date for the qualification is now 31 August 2015, so this is the final date we can receive and process your learner registrations
  • the new certification end date is 31 August 2017 so this is the final date we can produce full and partial certificates for your learners. We cannot accept or process any claims after this date. If you have any questions about this please contact your Centre Support Assistant here at NCFE.

The following unit programmes associated with this qualification have also been extended until 31 August 2015:

  • Mental health and mental health issues (D/504/1707/UNIT)
  • Understanding change and support in relation to mental health (K/504/1709/UNIT)
  • Approaches to care and management in mental health (K/601/2950/UNIT)
  • Valuing equality and diversity (L/503/1013/UNIT)

These unit programmes share the new regulation and certification end dates as the above qualification.
