ESF funding changes - support for the workforce

Friday 07 February 2014

Recent announcements from the SFA have meant changes to the learner eligibility criteria on the national ESF Skills Support programme for adult learners in the workplace.

Previously learners that already held a full Level 2 qualification could not be funded on this programme.  This restriction has now been removed and it is likely that many more learners will now become eligible for ESF funding, in particular within the Health and Social Care sector.

NCFE has a number of popular Level 2 qualifications within the Health, Public Services and Care sector which will help you with your allocations/targets such as:

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Dementia Care

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading Knowledge

Plus much more - see our other qualifications.
