Last month, NCFE was one of the first Awarding Organisations to submit a number of qualifications (that were at risk of losing their public funding to the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) for consideration under the exceptions process.
We’ve got some fantastic news!
Yesterday we received confirmation from the SFA that the following qualifications have all been successful in their appeal, which means funding for these qualifications is secure for 2014/15:
- Level 2 Certificate in Contact Centre Operations (600/1292/4)
- Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service Knowledge (600/1772/7)
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (501/1224/7)
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medicines (501/0037/3)
- Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness (600/6134/0)
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding End of Life Care (600/9523/4)
- Level 2 Certificate in Nutrition and Health (600/9966/5)
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working in Mental Health (600/6133/9
- Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles (601/0791/1).
This is great news and as we continue to work closely with the SFA and re-evaluate our portfolio of qualifications, we’d also like to thank our customers who have provided us with letters of support to aid us in the exceptions process.
We’ll continue to work closely with you and we’ll update you as soon as we have news and outcomes on each of our qualifications.
Learners are at the heart of all we do and we’ll continue to be committed to providing them with fundable, accessible qualifications which promote achievement, success and progression.
