We’ve developed the NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration which is now live.
This qualification is suitable for learners...
Aged 18 and above who work across a wide variety of sectors. It is designed for those who work with no support or supervision and is aimed at learners who work as part of a team and ensure the provision of information and resources to others.
What you need to know:
- this qualification replaces the predecessor version NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration (501/0854/2) which was withdrawn on 31 January 2014 due to new SASE requirements
- the new version from the Sector Skills Council (SSC) won’t be ready until September 2014 so this qualification has been developed as an interim measure for centres
- as this qualification is only available for a short period of time (until 31 August 2014) and because of the number of units, the qualification specification doesn’t include the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. Instead, we’ve provided links to the Ofqual Register from where the details can be downloaded.
Progression
This qualification can provide progression to further qualifications at Level 4 or higher in the same and related subject areas. These may include:
- NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Customer Service
- NCFE Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management.
Opportunities for employment progression include working in a wide variety of public and private institutions.
What about approval?
Any centres approved for NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration (501/0854/2) will receive automatic approval and DCS transfer for this qualification. If you'd like DCS, please get in touch with your Centre Support Assistant.
