We’d like to inform you that the following qualifications are being withdrawn on 31 March 2015.
- NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft using Cookery (500/6295/5/COO)
- NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft using Mixed Crafts (500/6324/8/MIX)
- NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft using Textiles (500/6278/5/TEX)
- NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft using Wood Crafts (500/6306/6/WOO)
- NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft using Art and Design (500/7034/4/ART)
- NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft using Cookery (500/6630/4/COO)
- NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft using Mixed Crafts (500/6814/3/MIX)
- NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft using Textiles (500/6531/2/TEX)
- NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft using Wood Crafts (500/6664/X/WOO)
The operational end date of these existing qualifications is 31 March 2015.
Please make sure that if you intend to register any learners on these qualifications, you do so before 31 March 2015. After this date, the qualification will no longer be available, and we’ll be unable to accept registrations.
Any learners registered before this date will have until the certification end date 31 March 2016 for Level 1 qualifications and 31 March 2017 for Level 2 qualifications to complete their course and claim certificates. This includes learners who have a credit certificate who want to complete the full qualification and claim a full certificate. We cannot accept or process any claims after this date. If you have any questions about this please contact your Centre Support Assistant here at NCFE.
These qualifications are being replaced by our new suite of Creative Craft qualifications which will be available for registrations from November 2014.
Learners can choose the generic qualification NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft (601/3360/0) or one of the following pathways:
- Art and Design (601/3360/0/ART)
- Heritage and Traditional Crafts (601/3360/0/HTC)
- Textiles (601/3360/0/TEX)
- Construction (601/3360/0/CON)
- Floristry (601/3360/0/FLO)
- Cake Decoration (601/3360/0/CAK)
- Cookery (601/3360/0/COO)
Learners can choose the generic qualification NCFE Level 2 Award in Creative Craft (601/3361/2) or one of the following pathways:
- Art and Design (601/3361/2/ART)
- Heritage and Traditional Crafts (601/3361/2/HTC)
- Textiles (601/3361/2/TEX)
- Construction (601/3361/2/CON)
- Floristry (601/3361/2/FLO)
- Cake Decoration (601/3361/2/CAK)
- Cookery (601/3361/2COO)
These qualifications have been redeveloped according to customer feedback. The added pathways in the new qualifications offer more choice for learners. The NCFE Level 1 Award in Creative Craft (601/3360/0) is funded by the SFA for adult (19+) learners.
In addition, the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Craft (601/3232/2) is available for registration now.
