We’ve been working hard over the past few months and using your feedback, we’re pleased to present our brand new Qualification Finder!
We’ve made switching between our Qualification Search, Site Search and Advanced Qualification Search clearer and easier following feedback; to switch between the types of search, simply select your option from the drop-down menu next to the search bar.
It’s now easier than ever to search for qualifications that suit your needs; we’ve added the ability to search using a number of criteria including whether a qualification can be used as part of an Apprenticeship, Study Programme or Traineeship, whether it has learning resources, if it’s fundable under the Skills Funding Agency or Section 96, and much more!
You’ll see handy icons on each search result page and qualification page to let you know the above features of a qualification at a quick glance – to see what each icon means, simply click on it.
The support material on each page, including qualification specifications, partner learning resources and Qualification Support Packs, are easier to access and it’s clear to see what’s mandatory and which resources are optional. We’ve started to add descriptions so you know what you’re downloading.
To help learners, we’ve added a new feature to allow them to find the nearest NCFE approved centre for any NCFE qualification they’re interested in. Every qualification page has a section where a postcode, city or town can be entered and the nearest 5 NCFE approved centres will be displayed.
If there’s any other information we think you need to know, such as if a qualification carries Performance Points or UCAS points, you’ll see that information on the relevant qualification page.
