The Skills Funding Agency updated their funding rates last month and it’s great news that there are a large number of NCFE qualifications eligible for funding in the 2014-15 session as well as some approved for next year. NCFE now has over 250 funded qualifications available for 14-15 (with an additional 350 funded units for standalone registration).
Working collaboratively with carefully selected training providers and producers of high quality learning materials allows us to offer you flexible and innovative solutions combined with a real breadth and depth of learning. Our fundable qualifications meet industry needs and fall into sector areas including:
- Preparation for Life and Work
- Business Admin, Customer Service and Management
- Education and Training
- Health, Public Service and Care
- Retail and Commercial Enterprise
- Arts, Media and Publishing.
From Functional Skills to Employability Skills, from Safe Handling of Medicines to Nutrition and Health, from Equality and Diversity to Team Leading – we are confident that there will be a qualification within NCFE’s fundable portfolio which will meet your learners’ needs.
We’re also pleased to see that a number of NCFE’s most valued qualifications have been approved for funding in 15-16 with more being resubmitted for funding soon! For example, we have large qualifications in Awareness of Mental Health Problems (601/3438/0) and Principals of End of Life Care (601/3818/X) which have replaced the 13 credit qualification equivalents and are therefore funded for next year.
The Skills Funding Agency’s Learning Aims Search online system is a great place to access funding information. This is an online search function that shows a qualification’s funding status for 16-19 learners, adult learners (19+) and which (if any) funding stream the qualification is funded against.
