As the SFA has again updated their 2015-16 Simplified Funding Rates Catalogue, we’ve got some more positive news for you on a number of NCFE’s qualifications that we submitted for inclusion in the 15-16 funding offer.
English and maths
With an increased commitment to literacy and numeracy across the education landscape, it’s great news that the SFA have approved our English and maths qualifications. These qualifications help to make English and maths accessible whilst providing clear progression routes:
- NCFE Level 1 Certificate in English (QCF) (601/1530/0)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in English (Entry 3) (QCF) (601/1551/8)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in English (Entry 2) (QCF) (601/1552/X)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in English (Entry 1) (QCF) (601/1567/1)
- NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Maths (QCF) (601/1090/9)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Maths (Entry 3) (QCF) (601/0611/6)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Maths (Entry 2) (QCF) (601/0610/4)
- NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Maths (Entry 1) (QCF) (601/0609/8)
More qualifications
What’s more, the following valued vocational qualifications are now approved to be funded as standalone qualifications as well as part of an Apprenticeship Framework:
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF) (501/0418/4)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (QCF) (600/1333/3)
- NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF) (501/0813/X)
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Cabin Crew (QCF) (600/0474/5)
- NCFE Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (Taxi and Private Hire) (QCF) (600/0827/1)
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate In Retail Skills (QCF) (600/4164/X)
- NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) (501/2318/X).
This means that in total, we currently have 107 qualifications funded by SFA for 2015-2016.
