NCFE retains Investors in People Gold status

Thursday 02 July 2015

NCFE is delighted to announce that we’ve retained our Investors in People (IiP) Gold status for a further 3 years!

We’ve been a member of Investors in People since 1997, and first achieved Gold status in 2012.

IiP was established in 1991 by the UK government to encourage and help businesses get the best from their people. The organisation offers a management framework to inspire high performance through people, with their accreditation recognised worldwide.

An external IiP assessor met with a range of colleagues to discuss our people management and development practices against the evidence requirements of the IiP Gold standard. Various colleague across the business met with the IiP assessor and the discussions were designed to check how well embedded our people practices are, and how people feel about working here against the recognised good practice IiP framework.

Chief Executive of NCFE David Grailey said of the outcome: “we’re a forward-thinking, ambitious and people-centric organisation and we’re always making changes for the better. We’re delighted to hold our Gold status, and feel it recognises all of the hard work we’re doing for our people”.

Kristina Henry, our Learning & Development Leader, added “our continuing Gold standard reflects the focus we invest in recruiting, developing and managing our people and know it will continue to enable us to attract new business and talented colleagues.”

This achievement is something we’re extremely proud of, and we’d like to congratulate all of our colleagues on achieving Gold status for a second time!
