SFA funding update: More NCFE qualifications available for funding

We’re delighted to announce that, as the Skills Funding Agency again update the Simplified Funding Rates catalogue for 2015-16, we now have a further 37 qualifications available for funding, taking our current total to 156 fundable qualifications.

We’ve had 5 qualifications added that can be delivered standalone or as part of an Apprenticeship:

  •          NCFE Level 2 Diploma In Retail Skills (600/4278/3)
  •          NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Contact Centre Operations (600/1292/4)
  •          NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning and Support Services Skills (501/0473/1)
  •          NCFE Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (600/1326/6)
  •          NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Hospitality Services) (601/0417/X)

Also fundable are:

  •          NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings (600/1302/3)
  •          NCFE Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ITQ) (501/1239/9)
  •          NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Art and Design (500/8988/2)
  •          NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Exploring the Aviation Industry (600/5588/1)
  •          NCFE Entry Level Certificate in Personal and Social Development (Entry 2) (501/0225/4)
  •          NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Art and Design (601/0677/3)
  •          NCFE Level 1 Award in Personal Development for the Outdoor Industry (501/1080/9)
  •          NCFE Level 1 Award in Interpersonal Skills (601/6333/1)

The additions also include 23 of our English and maths multi-unit awards, alongside to our certificates in English and maths added to the catalogue in April, meaning almost our entire English and maths suite is now fundable. The newest English and maths additions are:

We’ve worked really hard to get these qualifications in the Simplified Funding Catalogue, but we won’t stop there. There are a number of other qualifications we’ll be resubmitting or newly submitting to the SFA, including our suite of Occupational Studies qualifications. Watch this space!
