Learning Curve Group were delighted to attend the International Technology in Care Conference this month as the TSA’s Educational Partner of Choice. The conference, which is the biggest of its kind, saw telecare providers and innovators from across the world meet at the ICC in Birmingham.

The LCG stand attracted a lot of attention over the two-day event due to the brilliant fully-funded training and bespoke courses that we are offering to all TSA members.

Members of the LCG team also delivered talks and presentations to the delegates of the conference. Jac Ingram, our Operations Director, spoke about how Flexible Learning can help boost businesses in the telecare sector. The talk described the different models of flexible learning that we can offer employers and how we can help them upskill their staff.

The conference also marked the launch of our bespoke online courses that have been created especially for TSA members. The first module to go live is Fire Safety in the Home and this was revealed by our e-Learning Services Manager, Hannah Morgans, along with Stephen Norman from the London Fire Brigade and Gillian Austin from the TSA. A large crowd attended the presentation and benefited from finding out about what we can offer in the form of online learning and the background behind the modules creation.

Commenting on the success of the conference, Hannah Morgans said: ‘the event was a great opportunity to announce the start of our Educational Partnership with TSA at conference by launching the Fire Safety in the Home e-Learning course. I am looking forward to working with TSA in the future to develop further courses and contributing to the wider strategy’

The event was a brilliant way for LCG to see what kind of bespoke training may benefit those working in the telecare sector and we will be striving to meet the needs of TSA members.
