With NCFE’s Functional Skills qualifications in English, maths and ICT, you’ll have access to unique resources, tools and award-winning service that will benefit you and your learners and ensure success.

  1. On-demand assessments.

When you deliver our Functional Skills, your learners can sit their external assessments whenever they’re ready. Available either on or offline, the assessment papers are marked and results issued within 6 working days. This fast turnaround means that your learners will know soon after taking their assessment if they’ve achieved the qualification, and can quickly move onto the next level or applying for jobs.

  1. High quality resources and useful tools.

We offer lots of resources to support your delivery of our Functional Skills qualifications. These include Qualification Support Packs, Chief Examiner Reports and Amplification Guides to equip you to deliver the qualifications in a way that will ensure the best results for you and your learners.

You’ll also get free access to ForSkills’ initial assessment and diagnostic tool, which supports learners’ progression and prepares them for their external assessment. This tool is vital for ensuring that your learners are learning at a level appropriate to them, and automatic signposting to interactive resources provides targeted teaching for each learner to address any skills gaps detected by the assessment process. This helps to ensure that they’re able to achieve the qualification.

  1. Industry-leading service.

Our Functional Skills qualifications are supported by award-winning customer service and industry-leading service levels for results and certification. We turn around results within 6 working days and certificates within 1 working day, which saves you time and allows learners to progress quickly.
