As part of Ofqual’s approach to Risk Based Regulation and in an effort to remove confusion within the sector, regarding regulated and unregulated qualifications, Ofqual has been scrutinising the availability of unregulated provision in sectors or subject areas where awarding organisations currently offer regulated qualifications.

To make sure NCFE complies with these new requirements we have undertaken a full review of our Accreditation Services.  As a result of this review, we’d like to inform you that the below National Partnership Awards (NPAs) are affected by the new Risk Based Regulation arrangements and will consequently need to be withdrawn:

• NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Citizenship (NP00090NT)
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Active Citizenship (NP00091NT)
