To fit in with the new NCFE brand, our customer feedback programme has had a makeover, and we thought celebrating 12 months of ‘Use Your Voice’ would be a great time to introduce the new look to you!

With unemployment still high and a greater emphasis on training for the unemployed, NCFE is pleased to let you know that to help tackle this, we've developed over 380 stand-alone unit programmes, which are all now available for learner registration.

Helping to support learners into the world of work is high on everyone’s agenda and what’s great about NCFE units is that they’re all eligible for funding under the Single Adult Skills Budget.

At NCFE we’re all too aware of the media impact, peer pressure and stereotyping which young people face in their day to day lives. We know that these years are important to your pupils in building character and preparing for the future whilst being confident in their knowledge of current issues affecting their generation. That’s why at NCFE we offer a broad range of qualifications that can be used to raise awareness of key social issues.

In 2011, the REED NCFE partnership developed a suite of ‘next generation’ employability qualifications called ‘Job Search and Interview Skills’. These qualifications were developed in response to feedback from thousands of employers surveyed and were created to help learners stand out from the crowd in the jobs market.

Since the launch of the Job Search and Interview Skills qualifications in 2011, the REED NCFE suite of qualifications has expanded.

We’ve developed the following QCF qualifications:

• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles (Motor Cycle/Pedal Cycle)(601/2534/2/CYC)
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles (Van)(601/2534/2/VAN)
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles (Rigid Vehicle)(601/2534/2/RIG)
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles (Articulated or Drawbar Vehicle). (601/2534/2/ART).
