In September last year we launched our V Certs. The result of a lot of hard work from NCFE staff and customers, it has been great to receive lots of positive feedback on the fruits of this labour! This was possible because we were able to work closely with customers through our 2013 V Cert pilot initiative. During this pilot we worked with a number of schools to ensure our qualifications and resources were right for schools.

Following the release of the Department for Education (DfE) approved qualifications list, we’re delighted to be able to announce that we’re now recruiting for our new 2014 V Cert pilot.

From September 2014 we’ll have a number of substantial qualifications available for registration helping to support you to build tailored programmes of study for your learners.

Last month, NCFE was one of the first Awarding Organisations to submit a number of qualifications (that were at risk of losing their public funding to the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) for consideration under the exceptions process.

We’ve got some fantastic news! 

At the beginning of February, we shared with you, that the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) announced new funding rules (Approval of Qualifications of Public Funding for Adult Learners), which may result in the removal of public funding for a number of adult qualifications in 2014/15.
