You may be aware that our suite of Level 1 Occupational Studies qualifications are about to expire on 30 September 2013 and are being replaced by our new suite of Occupational Studies for the Workplace qualifications.

This also means that our stand-alone unit qualifications linked to these qualifications is changing as we transition to the new qualifications.

Our current unit programmes linked to the existing Level 1 Occupational Studies will also expire on 30 September 2013.

Following feedback from our centres and Asset Skills (the industry skills body for facilities management, housing, property, cleaning and parking), we’ve redeveloped the QCF qualifications NCFE Level 2 Award in Cleaning Principles (600/3151/7) and NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Principles (501/2319/1). 

Great news! We’ve developed some new QCF qualifications!

These qualifications will be available from Friday 27 September.

You’ll see that we’ve introduced some new larger Diploma qualifications to the new qualifications, these have been developed in response to requests from centres to expand our provision of these wide-ranging qualifications.

The qualification NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Early Years Foundation Stage Practice (500/5779/0) is due to expire and will not be replaced.

The qualification NCFE Level 2 Award in Understanding Working with People with Mental Health Issues (500/9956/5) is due to expire and will not be replaced.
