At NCFE we're dedicated to supporting you and your learners in achieving the best. As Key Skills qualifications are coming to an end, Functional Skills within Apprenticeships, Study Programmes and as standalone qualifications are more important than ever.

We're delighted to announce that we're launching the NCFE Level 1 NVQ Award in Sport and Active Leisure (600/9053/4). We’ve developed this qualification after positive feedback from some of our centres who are keen on running this qualification, showing an award of this type is well sought-after.

The NCFE Level 2 Award for Preparing to Work in the Cruise and Passenger Shipping Industry (601/0245/7) has been developed to replace the withdrawn NCFE Level 2 Award in Introduction to the Passenger Shipping Industry (600/1330/8). 

The Health and Social Care sector is a growing industry with more demand for jobs and experience than ever before.  To help learners gain this valuable experience and to provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to enter specific roles, NCFE has expanded its suite of qualifications to include the new Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings, supported by learning materials from Learning for Work.

With the second half of the summer term now in full swing, we thought we’d tell you about our selection of project based units that can be used to help your pupil engagement and enrichment strategy. Current our 3 project based units are:
