Christmas is here and we have a new performance table list from the DfE.

This means we’ve now received confirmation from the Department for Education (DfE) on which qualifications will feature in the 2017 Key Stage 4 performance tables.

Our development work and refinement doesn’t stop there though, and we’re continuing to work with schools and educational professionals to ensure that all our qualifications for schools remain flexible for you and engaging for your pupils.

As part of this work, we recently ran a survey to review the current creative V Certs. Titled “V Certs – Creative Studies Review’’, the survey looked specifically at our creative V Certs and was designed to gain school feedback on the qualifications and support resources ahead of the revised DfE technical guidance for future qualifications with performance tables. Schools who took part in the survey were also entered into a prize draw to win £100 worth of equipment for their school. The lucky winner was Sam Futo of Trinity Catholic College.

We’ll be using this feedback to help ensure our creative V Cert qualifications continue to provide real value to you and your pupils.

The benefit of these surveys is that they are just one way of allowing continual dialogue with you, which helps ensure that our school qualifications remain the best they can be.
